Animal Robotix

Studio Wormbone has come up with yet another mind bendingly deviant release with 'Animal Robotix'. While pushing musical machines to (and often past) their limits, many of the sounds that eminate from the studio equipment seem notably biological in character. Some are unexplainably animalistic and lifelike.

During recording sessions, without warning the curious vocalizations of synthetic creatures would call to each other from inside the circuitry, and those fleeting moments are captured - but not tamed - for you here. These are the abstract sounds of imaginary monsters, of extra terrestrial wildlife, and of space zoos of the future. Perhaps some of the file names would help convey what kind of oddity lurks herein:

Sound Categories:

The body of this collection is a wide assortment of lengthy files (50 count) and a large batch of one shot samples (60 hits) for use as appallingly original electro percussion or as staccato punctuation for techno tunes. They would sit beautifully within a number of subgenres like house, drum and bass, dance, electro, glitch, industrial, and IDM, as well as adventurous pop and rock. It should also go without saying that these sounds undeniably belong in film and video game scores.

Formats provided are WAV/AIF in 24bit/44.1khz resolution, and are of course royalty free. Every sample has been professionally recorded, edited, and mastered with the utmost care, and is usable with every major audio software program (Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Sonar, FL Studio, Sony Acid, Garageband, Ableton Live, Reason). All files are compatible cross platform with either Mac or PC.
